Fill a basin with lukewarm water and a mild detergent suitable for delicate fabrics. Gently agitate the water to create suds. Immerse the Ajrak and gently swish it around. Avoid scrubbing or wringing to prevent damage to the delicate fabric.

Use a low heat setting and place a clean, dry cloth between the iron and the shawl to prevent direct contact. Avoid using steam, as excessive moisture can damage the delicate fabric.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals:
Keep the shawl away from harsh chemicals such as bleach, chlorine, and strong detergents, as they can damage the delicate fabric
